
MSU Student Government Association announces 2013-14 directors
After conducting interviews for Student Government Association director positions, the appointments were announced March 6. SGA is the governing body for Minot State University students and functions as the chief law and policymaking organization for the student body.
"This year's director interviews featured some returning faces from the 2012-13 officer team as well as some faces that were completely new to SGA," said Lindsey Nelson, SGA president, who is a communication disorders major from Bainville, Mont. "The 2013-14 directors show talent and leadership abilities, and it will be exciting to see what they help SGA accomplish next year."
The SGA directors for 2013-14 are Emily Anderson, director of state affairs, junior, history education, Minot; Breanna Benson, Homecoming co-coordinator, sophomore, special education and elementary education, Minot; Callie Cook, Homecoming co-coordinator, sophomore, Minot; Nicole "Nikki" Egge, co-director of entertainment, freshman, elementary education, Williston; Casey Feldner, co-director of intramurals, freshman, history, Minot; Anzley Harmon, director of media relations, junior, art (graphic design), Minot; Marley Kotylak, co-director of entertainment, sophomore, communication disorders, Montmartre, Saskatchewan; Ward Lamon, director of marketing, junior, broadcasting (public relations and advertising), Minot; and Josh Sandy, co-director of intramurals, sophomore, broadcasting (public relations and advertising), Velva.
