The halls are alive with the sound of music!
Minot State University Division of Music hosts the 34th annual Northwest International Festival of Music Friday and Saturday (Nov. 2-3). High school students from North Dakota and Eastern Montana auditioned in late September for coveted seats in the Honor Band or Women’s, "Nova" or Mixed Chorus. Hundreds of talented musicians and vocalists are showcased in a final concert this weekend. The public is invited to attend.
The MSU Showcase Concert features MSU student ensembles on Friday (Nov. 2), 3:30 p.m., Ann Nicole Nelson Hall, in Old Main.
The Festival Ensembles Concert will feature high school musicians from the Concert Band, Mixed Chorus, Women's Chorus and the "Nova" Festival Chorus, Saturday (Nov.3), 4:30 p.m., in Ann Nicole Nelson Hall.
There is a $5 admission charge at the door.
