MSU History Club hosts third annual cemetery tours
Every year the MSU History Club hosts tours of the First Lutheran Church Cemetery, located next to the Minot State University campus at 11th Avenue NW and North Broadway. This year's event is Saturday (Oct. 20) from noon to 4 p.m.
"Many prominent Minot area pioneers, such as Erik Ramstad and Ole and Gunhild Sundre, are buried in the cemetery," said Elizabeth Krebsbach, MSU History Club co-president. "Club members will lead the tours, which are free and open to the public, but freewill donations will go to help the MSU History Club with its projects."
Refreshments will be available. Baked goods and snacks will also be for sale.
