MSU Future-Beaver Basketball Clinics scheduled for Oct.
Minot State University men’s and women’s basketball teams are sponsoring a three-day mini basketball clinic for children enrolled in kindergarten through sixth grade. The clinics will be held in the MSU Dome on Saturdays (Oct. 13, Oct. 20 and Oct. 27) from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Clinic participants will learn basketball skills and build relationships with MSU athletes; men’s and women’s basketball team members will coach and also speak on the importance of staying in school, the roll athletics has played in their lives and the benefits of avoiding drugs and alcohol.
The $50 application fee gets Future-Beavers a T-shirt, which allows free admission to Beaver basketball home games. Participants also receive a poster of the Minot State basketball teams and game schedules for each team.
Preregistration is suggested before Oct. 10, but registrations will be accepted at the door on Oct. 13.
