MSU Sociology Club hosting open forum with political candidates Tuesday
The Minot State University Sociology Club is sponsoring a political town hall meeting Tuesday (Oct. 9) in Aleshire Theater, 1-2:30 p.m. The forum is free and open to the public.
The students invited every candidate that Minot voters can elect in November. Invitations were extended to candidates from national offices, such as president, to local races, such as Ward County commissioner. Candidates who indicated they will attend the forum are: Kristen Baesler, superintendent of public instruction candidate; Robert "Bob" Frantsvog, state representative District 40 candidate; Robert Kibler, state representative District 38 candidate; Ross Mushik, state treasurer candidate; Tom Potter, state insurance commissioner candidate; Tracy Potter, superintendent of public instruction candidate; Roland Riemer, state governor candidate; Ryan Taylor, state governor candidate; and Joshua Voytek, public service commissioner candidate.
