NW Art Center lecture features study-abroad tour
Travelers from the Minot State University study-abroad program will open the fall season of the Northwest Art Center Lecture Series with "Luck o' the MSU Student: Travels in Ireland," Tuesday, September 4, at 7:00 p.m. in the Aleshire Theater, MSU.
This past summer MSU faculty member Andrea Donovan led a group of students to Galway, Cork, and Dublin, Ireland. Travelers Anthony Anderson, Stephanie Deutsch, Brittany Papp, and Erica Reeve will join Donovan to recap the trip in pictures and anecdotes.
Information also will be provided on the 2013 MSU study abroad trip to Scandinavia, which will include a side trip to Russia and Estonia.
The lecture is free and open to the public. An informal reception will follow the presentation. Parking on the MSU campus is unrestricted after 5 p.m.
The Northwest Art Center Lecture Series is funded in part by a grant from the North Dakota Council on the Arts, which receives funding from the state legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts.
