Save a life give blood!
The Mu Sigma Tau Fraternity of Minot State University will sponsor a blood drive Tuesday (Jan. 31) in the Conference Center (Student Center, third floor) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is a convenient way to donate blood and get blood pressure, temperature, pulse, hematocrit and cholesterol checked and possibly save someone’s life, all in less than an hour.
"Service is important to us as a fraternity. This fall, we helped muck out flooded houses because the community was hit so hard, and with a flooded house ourselves, we knew how much help was needed. We’re hosting this blood drive for the second year because it is so vital to keep blood supplies up for those who need them," said Max Buchholz, president of the Mu Sigma Tau Fraternity and Minot State University Student Government Association.
Appointments are suggested, but "walk ins" are welcome Appointments can be made by contacting Aaron Hughes, student activities intern, at 858-3987 or aaron.hughes@minotstateu.edu.
