Western Plains Children's Choirs to present 'Peace on Earth' Sunday
The Western Plains Children's Choirs will present "Peace on Earth" in Ann Nicole Nelson Hall Sunday (Dec. 11) at 7 p.m. Western Plains Junior Choir (third to fifth grade) will present several songs and feature Minot State University music education majors Erin Neumann and Alyssa Beyer, each conducting a selection. Western Plains Children's Choir will present several Christmas carols from different cultures including "Still Still Still" from Germany, conducted by MSU music major Jonathan Clark. The Western Plains Youth Ensemble will also be featured. The ensembles are directed by Rebecca Petrik and Laurel Livingston. The concert is free and open to the public, but there will be a free-will donation taken for the Salvation Army. For questions, contact rebecca.petrik@minotstateu.edu.
