Campus Players present 'A Christmas Carol' Saturday after going on tour

The Minot State University Campus Players will retell Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" Saturday (Dec. 10) in Aleshire Theater at 7:30 p.m. This classic, directed by Daniel Johnson of Ray, follows miser Ebenezer Scrooge on his journey to find the true meaning of Christmas and life.

Annually, MSU Campus Players produces a holiday production intended for elementary school students. Minot Public Schools, unfortunately, suspended field trips for the 2011-12 school year because of the flood. To continue serving its audience, MSU Campus Players created a touring version that will visit three area schools, Trinity Nursing Home and The View, a senior living center. The Saturday performance is the final showing and end of the tour for this production.

Tickets are $6 for adults and $5 for students, children and senior citizens. MSU IDs will not be accepted for admission, as this production is a fundraiser for Campus Players. Reservations can be made by calling 858-3172.
