Minot State celebrates first International Night
Minot State University’s International Student Organization will celebrate International Night this Saturday (Nov. 20) at the Ann Nicole Nelson Hall at 7 p.m. This is the first time this event is celebrated at the university.
"We want to raise cultural awareness and encourage cross-cultural dialog on campus and in Minot at large" said Boma Brown, International Student Organization president. "I am really impressed with the support I’ve received from MSU students, faculty and staff. Also, people outside the MSU community have wanted to share their culture."
The evening’s activities include a fashion show, food from more than 10 countries, music and dance. There will also be a raffle drawing with proceeds going to the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch.
International Night is free and open to the public.
