Open forums scheduled for April 16
Dear Minot State University Faculty and Staff:
I thought it would be helpful for us to hold three open forums next week to discuss legislative actions, to provide other updates, and to discuss the results of the campus-wide review of the Minot State University performance objectives. Please review the attached report (pdf) and the comments from our campus. Hard-copies of this report will be sent directly to the deans and directors of each of our administrative units.
These forums will be held in Aleshire Theater on April 16, from 8-9 a.m., 9:30-10:30, and 11:00-12:00. The agenda for each will cover: 1) Updates on legislative and State Board actions impacting MSU; 2) A review and discussion of the results of the Great Plains performance indicators; and 3) A discussion regarding steps that we should take to set objectives on the indicators for which there is a wide variety of opinions. The cover letter on the report goes into more detail about the indicators needing further attention.
