MSU Rotaract begins ‘Bentley the Bear’ service project
The Minot State University Rotaract has initiated a service project, titled "Bentley the Bear," designed to benefit area children. The Rotaract club has been raising money to purchase teddy bears, which will be donated to the Minot Domestic Violence Crisis Center during the holiday season.
"We as Minot State students are starting Rotaract to make a difference, to give back to the community," said Anthony Anderson, president of MSU Rotaract. "Since establishing the club, we have participated in the community Halloween event in the Dome, but giving these bears is our biggest endeavor yet."
The Minot State University Rotaract is the newly-formed collegiate program of the Minot Noon Rotary. It prides itself in being the only service club on the Minot State campus and is composed of students of the university who are determined to make a positive difference in their community.
