Summer 2008 edition of Connections released
The Connections magazine, a Minot State University Alumni Association and Development
Foundation publication, recently released the summer 2008 edition. The magazine focuses on how
research unites faculty and students.
The featured stories include: cancer research funded by a grant from the North Dakota Idea
Networks for Biomedical Research Excellence, research of ancient Chinese manuscripts,
professional research for teachers, and disability-related research.
"I am delighted to see an issue of Connections dedicated to showcasing research occurring
at Minot State University", said Gary Rabe, vice president for academic affairs. "One of the features
of an education at MSU that we are most proud of is that students have the opportunity to engage in
research, often of national or international significance, while working directly with MSU faculty."
