Physical education department supports Senate Bill increasing high school PE requirement

Three MSU physical education faculty members, students, and a Minot PE teacher visited the Legislature Feb. 6 to support Senate Bill 2354, which would increase the high school physical education requirement by an additional 1/2 credit.

Faculty member Terry Eckmann and student Kassie Krebsbach of Minot testified at the house hearing of the bill. The MSU contingency was the only university-related group to travel to Bismarck in advocacy of the bill.
