C. Experiences Working with Diverse Candidates

Diversity of candidates in advanced programs of the unit and the institution are shown in the table on the next page. Data represent candidates who were active in advanced programs during the 2005-2006 academic year. The ethnic diversity of candidates mirrors that of the general population in the service area of the unit. Most of the candidates in the unitís advanced programs are residents of North Dakota, Minnesota, and provinces in Canada. Efforts are made to recruit candidates from the Native American community colleges in the state.
