Strings
The Division of Music offers a comprehensive strings curriculum. Students of both high and low stringed instruments are given the opportunity to study through weekly lessons with highly qualified professionals. Other opportunites for study include master-classes, chamber music ensembles, String Ensemble and performances with the Minot Symphony Orchestra. BSE students may choose to pursue either a Strings or Comprehensive teaching certificate. BA students may elect to pursue a Performance Option. Lessons are also available to music minors and non-majors.
Each string student is encouraged to achieve a high quality of personal performance. MSU String Graduates are heard nationally and dominate the educational string programs in North Dakota.
