Don't Take Candy From Strangers! - hosted by the Rural Crime and Justice Center (RCJC)
Many of us have heard how addictive meth is and some of the effects it can have on our brain and bodies but did you know that it now comes in candy flavors and in a pill format? Predators are constantly creating new ways to get you to try meth so you will be hooked. You need to know how to protect yourself and knowing the signs and effects of meth could help you identify a friend who is addicted and in danger. The Rural Crime and Justice Center is located on the campus of Minot State University and has developed numerous research projects aimed at understanding the various facets of methamphetamine usage and production and the impact on families, communities, businesses, and the criminal justice system.
