Tell us a little about your experience abroad:
How do I quantify the amount of fun I had on such a life changing experience? Going abroad and living a completely different life for five months was one of the most amazing experiences of my life.

What did you learn while studying abroad?
I learned a lot while I was away, including about my host country, its people and its history. But I think I learned the most about myself. I got a clearer idea of my direction in life, a sense of confidence that I didn't know was possible, and the difference between what I want and what I need.

Do you think other MSU students should have this type of experience?
Getting out of college and into the "real world" is a scary idea. When I went abroad I actually went out into the world, and saw a part of it that not many people get to see. And then I came back to finish up my education at MSU. So it was like a sneak peak into that "real world" and how I can operate in it. Anyone who goes abroad will be challenged and will accomplish more than they thought they could. It will prepare you for the future in ways you can't imagine.

Do you have any advice for other MSU students?
Dive right in!! This is an opportunity that not many people but us college students get to have. Experience as much as you can.
