International Student Orientation
International Student Orientation is MANDATORY, so admitted students should arrive on campus the week before classes begin. Housing in the Minot State residence Halls is available during the two days of orientation before the residence halls officially open.
Benefits of Attending Orientation:
- Learn about Minot State and the community.
- Meet with your assigned academic adviser to understand academic and degree requirements, plan your class schedule, and register for classes.
- Discover services and resources to enhance academic success.
- Understand the immigration and employment requirements.
- Meet and build friendships with other incoming students.
- Get to know the staff of the Office of International Programs as well as other Minot State faculty and staff.
