Position Description: Minot State University (Minot, ND) seeks qualified applicants for the position of Director of Athletic Marketing and Promotions. This 12-month position reports to the Director of Athletics. Responsibilities: Serve as a member of marketing and communications team; develop, sell and execute corporate partnerships; supervise all in-game and special event promotions including planning, design, and execution of plans to build crowd awareness and game-day environment; organize community outreach and engagement activities for student-athletes and coaches; develop and oversee ďkids clubĒ; oversee student spirit group and incentive program; serve as liaison to Advancement Office and University Marketing Office; assist in organization, coordination and administration of special events primarily related to marketing and development; develop and oversee season ticket campaigns and sales including the design of season ticket brochures, schedule cards, posters and other marketing materials.

Selection Criteria: Required: Bachelorís degree; demonstrated experience in the field of marketing, a related field or experience working in an intercollegiate athletic department; ability to work athletic events, irregular schedules, weekends and evenings as required. Preferred: Masterís degree and knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Preference for familiarity with MSU athletics program. Position Description: This position serves as an integral team member dedicated to student success. Successful candidate will serve as Project Advisor for 100 students and coordinate the Peer Mentoring program in the POWER office. Advising Coordinator will meet regularly with program participants, administer assessments to students, document student contacts, conduct workshops and complete necessary follow up to ensure compliance and work toward achieving set goals in retention, academic performance and student graduation. Serves as liaison between department advisors and student service offices.

Selection Criteria: Position requires a minimum of a Bachelorís degree, prefer a degree in Counseling or related field with at least two years of work experience in higher education and experience in student assessment relative to academic achievement preferred. Must have knowledge and experience in the use of personal computers and application software (word processing, spreadsheets, database management). Description of Position: This position is located in the Gordon B. Olson Library and is primarily responsible for performing paraprofessional library work in the cataloging unit. These duties include: processing new print and non-print materials being added to the library's collection; checking in and processing publications; and performing a variety of tasks involved in the maintenance of the library's online catalog. The ability to perform a variety of tasks, including detailed work, is important, as well as being able to perform assigned tasks with minimum supervision.

Criteria for Selection: Requires an associateís degree, two years of college coursework, or significant experience related to the position. Prefer someone with prior experience in a library or similar setting. Requires good verbal and interpersonal skills as well as a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and interact positively with a variety of people. Position: Accounts Receivable Collections/Assistant Cashier

Position Description: Reports to the Senior Accountant and is responsible for accounts receivable and assistant cashier functions for the operation of the Business Office. Accounts receivable responsibilities include: provide general information and front-line support to students and parents; explain billing and receivable amounts to students; prepare cancellation list and notify students; send e-bills monthly; contact students regarding past due accounts; send accounts to collection agency when deemed uncollectible; maintain database for all bad debts, amounts owed, payments, and payment arrangements; and analyze and prepare bad debt write-off list annually. Assistant cashier responsibilities include daily cashier support and to serve as primary backup and other related duties.

Selection Criteria: Requires an associateís degree related to accounting and at least three years of successful bookkeeping experience. Directly related experience preferred. Knowledge of MSU accounting procedures or accounts receivable experience is desirable. Must have knowledge and experience in the use of PCs and application software (word processing, database management, Excel spreadsheets). Requires excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with various types of people. Successful candidate will be expected to research, evaluate and recommend best practices for intrusive advising and new assistive technologies and provide training to others. Assistance in the evaluation of programs and annual performance reporting required.

Selection Criteria: Bachelorís degree required (preference for degree related to education or counseling). Experience working with students with academic need, including low-income students, first-generation students, minority students, or persons with disabilities is required. Additionally, applicants should have experience in student assessment and intervention related to academic achievement and/or other facets of student success. Two years of advising, student services, or teaching experience desired, along with knowledge and experience in the use of personal computers and application software (word processing, spreadsheets, database management). MSU seeks candidates who have overcome obstacles similar to those facing current project participants.
