Position Description: This position reports to the Financial Aid Director and is responsible for the following administrative duties: planning and scheduling of on-campus events, greeting, directing and answering students and parents questions, answering and directing phone inquiries to appropriate staff, maintain various databases, processing award notices, processing right to rescind letter, processing satisfactory progress notices, maintain various scholarship, award and withdrawal databases, process loan certifications and track alternative loan disbursements, process loan entrance and exit counseling records, supervise document imaging. Maintain office budget records, files and supplies, and other duties as assigned.

Selection Criteria: Requires an associate’s degree related to business, accounting, or office administration. (Significant experience directly related to the position may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.) Requires a minimum of two year’s office experience. Knowledge of financial aid, accounting, and finance preferred. Must be a proficient user of personal computers and application software including word processing and spreadsheets. Prefer experience with MS-Word and MS-Excel. Prefer experience with PeopleSoft software. Requires competent abilities in math and attention to detail in routine activities. Requires excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and presentation skills. Must demonstrate the ability to deal effectively and interact positively with various types of people. Must be able to operate standard office equipment (copier, telephone, fax, etc.)

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Reports to the Controller and is responsible for providing accounts payable support for the operation of the Business Office. Accounts payable responsibilities include: auditing and processing all campus vouchers, purchase requisitions, journal entries, and purchasing card transactions; responding to questions and communicate with departments and vendors concerning payments; and providing training to campus community for accounts payable policies and procedures.

SELECTION CRITERIA: Requires an associate’s degree related to accounting. Directly related experience preferred. Knowledge of MSU accounting procedures or accounts payable experience is desirable. Position Description: Minot State University seeks an energetic, innovative service-oriented individual for the position of Cataloging and Government Documents Librarian. Library and Information Science professionals who are interested in providing cataloging in a wide variety of formats including but not limited to monographs, serials, e-resources and other items are encouraged to apply. Also the Cataloging and Government Documents Librarian will be responsible for Federal and State Documents. Additional duties include regularly scheduled hours at the reference desk and some collection development responsibilities. This position reports directly to the Library Director.

Selection Criteria: A Master's degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited program; strong commitment to quality cataloging; experience in print and electronic resource cataloging; demonstrated working knowledge of cataloging rules, and tools such as MARC, AACR2, LCSH, LCC, and familiarity with RDA and authority control; experience with OCLC Bibliographic Utility/Connexion interface and ILS systems (preference ExLibris Aleph); familiarity with cataloging issues and standards, metadata standards, best practices, emerging trends in the cataloging field; knowledge and familiarity with Federal Depository guidelines (FDLP); demonstrated commitment to diversity and ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds; and proven supervisory experience. Position: Athletic Facilities Worker

Position Description: This position will be responsible for preparing and maintaining Minot State University Athletic Facilities for university related and public events. Duties include custodial services, general building maintenance, the setup and teardown of tables, chairs, athletic equipment, other associated equipment, and other assigned task. Duties also include the preparation and maintaining the athletic fields and the exteriors areas of the athletic facilities (building maintenance, mowing, shoveling snow, disposing of waste, etc.) Shifts are 6:00am – 2:30pm and 2:30pm – 11:00pm with adjustment in response to the schedule of the facilities events.

Selection Criteria: Requires the equivalent of successful completion of high school and one year of custodial/facility maintenance experience including tasks such as landscaping and grounds maintenance; or three years of custodial or facility maintenance experience. Must have the ability to perform semiskilled maintenance and repair work. Knowledge of the practice/procedures used in facility maintenance is required. Must be physically able to perform a variety of manual tasks and lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively with the general public.
