Position Description: This position is responsible for processing applications, communication with applicants and distribution of support materials to other University departments. This position also is a member of the enrollment management team that supports recruitment and registration of students. Provide excellent customer service with a focus on "Student First" service. Compile data for institutional studies, provide regular reports to University Administration, and assist with registration activities.

Selection Criteria: Requires an AA/AS related to administration or information systems or comparable work experience to the qualifications criteria. Must be a competent user of personal computers and application software including word processing and spreadsheets. Prefer experience with MS-Word and MS-Excel spreadsheets, requires excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Must demonstrate the ability to deal effectively and interact positively with various types of people. Must be able to operate standard office equipment (copier, telephone, fax, etc.)

Position Description: This position reports to the Facilities Management Director and has responsibility for campus grounds maintenance including the planting and maintenance of trees, shrubs, flowers, and lawns; the application of fertilizers, pesticides, and other chemicals; general landscaping; and snow removal. Duties include organizing student workers and others engaged in grounds keeping activities and performing other maintenance duties that may include building maintenance, painting, sheet rock repair, and basic carpentry for other duties assigned when weather is not conducive to yard/grounds operations.

Selection Criteria: Requires a high school diploma. Previous grounds keeping experience preferred. Applicants shall be proficient in running skid steer loaders and normal equipment found in grounds keeping operations. Applicants must be physically able to shovel sidewalks/steps for long periods of time during inclement weather. The applicant shall have general knowledge of building maintenance, painting, sheet rock repair, and basic carpentry for other duties assigned when weather is not conducive to yard/grounds operations. Position Description: MSU is seeking to hire a campus security officer. Reporting to the Superintendent of Security, this position is responsible for maintaining campus security and safety. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

Position: Accounts Payable Coordinator

Position Description: Reports to the Controller and is responsible for providing accounts payable support for the operation of the Business Office. Accounts payable responsibilities include: auditing and processing all campus vouchers, purchase requisitions, journal entries, and purchasing card transactions; responding to questions and communicate with departments and vendors concerning payments; and providing training to campus community for accounts payable policies and procedures.

Selection Criteria: Requires an associate’s degree related to accounting. Directly related experience preferred. Knowledge of MSU accounting procedures or accounts payable experience is desirable. Must have knowledge and experience in the use of PCs and application software (word processing, database management, spreadsheets). Requires excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with various types of people.
