5K Run / Walk

Registration: 5pm, Race: 6pm

Please join us for the 5K Run/Walk and help celebrate Homecoming 2009, raise money for a good cause, enjoy the Block Party and MORE!! The race will be held on the Minot State University campus and will start at Cook Hall's parking lot and ends in Crane Hall's parking lot.

Packet pick-up and day of registration will occur in the start line area located on the loop in front of Old Main. T-shirts will be distributed at the entrance of the race for the first 500 registrants. Food will be provided after the race.

Proceeds from the race will benefit MSU cross country and track and field teams.

Early 5K Run / Walk registration closes on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2009.

Race Day Registration:

• 3:30-5:30 PM, Wednesday, September 23, 2009
• Cook Hall Parking Lot

Starting Times and Location:

• 5K Starts at 6:00 PM - Cook Hall parking lot
• Run and Walk finish at the Crane Hall parking lot

Race Packets:
Runners may pick up their race packets between 3:30 -5:30 PM on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at the registration booth outside of Cook Hall. Race shirts will be distributed when runners pick up their race packets.

Entry Fee:

• $10 in advance
• $12 after September 19, 2009
• Children under 12 years of age are free of charge

Registration and Fees are due by September 19, 2009. Fees include a MSU Beaver Fun Run T-Shirt. First and Second place trophies will be awarded in each of the 7 age divisions. Trophies will be awarded to male and female overall champions and first and second-place winners of running categories only.
