Domain Trust Relationship

You get a message that says "The trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain failed." when you attempt to login to your machine.

This is a common problem that will require a visit from IT. Please enter a workorder or bring the machine to Old Main 108.

For a temporary workaround:

  • Unplug the network cable or turn off wireless adapter.
  • While it is disconnected enter your login credentials.
  • After you are logged you my reconnect your network cable or wireless connection.
