Annual Minot State Youth Camp

Almost 400 young football players attended Minot State University's Youth football camp in conjunction with the Minot YMCA on Sunday September 10th.

The ten fifth and sixth grade teams worked their way through fundamental stations, learned at least one special teams skill, (punting, kicking, snapping, returning), and finished up with a short scrimmage.

The six third and fourth grade teams participated in much the same format, learning individual skills such as blocking, tackling, throwing, catching, and running.

The young players all worked with many of the players from the Beaver football team, as well as the Minot State coaches.

It was a beautiful day for football.

Best of luck to all the coaches and players this fall.  The MSU Beaver coaches and players look forward to working with you again next fall!
