Jeff Engel - Defensive Line

Coach Engel begins his second season as the defensive line coach at Minot State University.  Prior to this season he served as the special teams coordinator and outside linebackers coach at Moberly High School, Moberly, MO for the past two seasons 2005-06.

Mr. Engel coaching background includes eight seasons at Upper Iowa University, serving as the defensive line, strength and conditioning coach.  During his tenure at "The Upper" he also served as Assistant Head Coach during the 20004-05 season.  He spent a year as Central Missouri State University's Graduate assistant coach with additional responsibility as the position coach for the defensive ends.  In 1995 he was a graduate assistant coach at "NCAA III National Champion", University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse.

Engel earned a masters degree in Sport Administration from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse.  He hold an undergraduate degree in physical education and sport administration from Luther College, and was a football letter winner at Luther College as well.  He is also a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

Jeff and his wife Jodi have a son, Jackson.
