Beavers defeated 20-21 by Black Hills State

MINOT, N.D. - Black Hills State closed
out a very solid college football season with a 21-20 win over Minot State
in a Dakota Athletic Conference contest on Saturday.
Both teams managed three touchdowns, but Minot had a miscue on a PAT.
Minot State quarterback Jamar Culver was 20-of-34 passing for 231 yards and
two touchdowns, and also had a rushing TD. Silas Sneed finished with four
catches for 103 yards. Manny Gutierrez rushed 22 times for 125 yards for the
Beavers.
The Yellow Jackets downed the Beavers despite getting out-gained on offense
438 yards to 256.
Minot finished the season 4-6 overall and 3-4 in the DAC.
The win wrapped up BHSU's breakthrough season, in which the Yellow Jackets
went 7-3 overall and 5-2 in the DAC.
The 5-2 DAC mark landed Black Hills in third in the conference, a game behind
Dickinson State (6-1) and Valley City State (6-1), the co-champions.
