Bachelor of Science (BS) in Arts Administration

The Bachelor of Science with a Major in Arts Administration will provide you with strong management skills, an aptitude for grant writing and fund raising, marketing and public relations abilities, and strong visual or performing arts backgrounds. You will engage in a
multidisciplinary education that will prepare you for a career in a gallery, museum, or art center.

Arts administration study at MSU is a meaningful and rewarding creative experience, during which you will build confidence with the various aspects of museum management, with an elective focus on a personal museum interest, as well as becoming versed in art techniques, concepts, design, and aesthetic judgement.

The MSU Art Department is small enough to foster strong student mentoring and large enough to attract quality professors who are engaged in outstanding research.

Art Department Scholarship

The Harvey & Arlene Twyman scholarship is available to incoming freshmen, transfer students, and currently enrolled majors. Awards are based on the quality of applications and student portfolios. For more information or an application.
