General Studies
A Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) degree is a flexible, highly individualized degree; it's a great way to develop a personalized major or to complete a bachelor's degree in a timely manner.
General studies majors work closely with academic advisors to ensure requirements are met and to help students shape their studies to meet their interests and goals.
Many students come to Minot State University to take required general education coursework. Thanks to North Dakota's General Education Requirements Transfer Agreement (GERTA), general education credits earned at most institutions can transfer to Minot State. Find out more information about how credits transfer.
