Fact Sheet

Here is some information you will need for this 4-1/2 day experience at Minot State University will provide insight into future careers in managements, finance, engineering, and other key careers in the energy industry.

Housing
Students staying on campus will be housed in Lura Hall and must check in at 6 p.m. in the Administration Building at Enrollment Services room 165. If you will be staying on campus, you must state your intent to do so with Kevin Harmon at kevin.harmon@minotstateu.edu.

Money
Most expenses will be covered. Students may want to bring $20-$30 for miscellaneous spending while at Minot State University.

Prescriptions
If you are taking any medications, remember to bring a sufficient supply to last through the trip. Please be sure to fill out the attached confidential prescription form and mail it to Kevin Harmon at 500 University Ave West, Minot North Dakota 58707.

Health Insurance
Please bring a copy of your health insurance card—a photocopy or an original will be sufficient.

  • Clothing and closed-toe shoes suitable for field work

  • A plastic bag for muddy or wet clothing
