The goals of the NDTSEA are:
To promote and encourage the teaching of driver and traffic safety education to the youth of our state.
To study the problems that are associated with the teaching of driver and traffic safety education and then attempt to solve these problems.
To cooperate with other agencies in the interests of the teaching of driver and traffic safety education, especially in the high schools and colleges.
To improve and upgrade requirements for teaching driver and traffic safety education.
