TRANSITIONS for First-Year StudentsHabitat House

Transitions Facebook

MSU Transitions is a part of the orientation process where students are introduced to the services that will assist them in being successful throughout their first year of college. MSU contains a variety of resources to help students find success. Transitions exists to help students discover these resources early in their academic career.

Transitions also helps students build relationships with fellow first-year students and learn from experienced student leaders. Transitions leaders offer honest, insightful, and helpful information to assist new students with their shift to college life.

Each session provides opportunities for service and engagement in the Minot community. Previous projects have included volunteerism at Roosevelt Park Zoo, LostWood Wildlife Refuge, and Habitat for Humanity. This experience helps introduce MSU’s culture of engagement while discovering the community of Minot.

Sessions are offered a few days before classes begin with limited sessions occurring after the first day of class. Check out our CETL calendar to find a date that works for you.
