How to Join
Registration for first-year learning communities is simple and easy. When you attend orientation you will meet with an advisor. During this meeting, discuss which learning community is right for you. Build the rest of your schedule around the courses in the learning community. Your advisor and orientation leaders will give you directions on how to register.
Keep the following in mind:
- Have a back-up plan. Some learning communities may fill-up before you have a chance to attend orientation so you will want to have a second and third choice in mind if you can’t register for your first choice.
- Since the courses of the learning community are linked, you cannot drop one of the courses without dropping the other two.
