There are four degrees from Minot State University offered on Minot Air Force Base:
- Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice
- Bachelor of Science in General Studies
- Bachelor of Applied Science in Management
- Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Information Technology
MSU also offers over 60 undergraduate majors on campus.
In addition, MSU offers general education courses at Minot AFB to help members of the United States Air Force earn their Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) degree. Classes at Minot Air Force Base are open to the general public as well as military students and their dependents. Consider these convenient scheduling options in 8-week and 16-week sessions:
- Traditional classroom courses with flexible schedules on base
- Online courses and degree programs: MSU Online
- Courses on the Minot State University campus (only 10 miles from the base)
Tuition Assistance is available for all active duty military members. Visit the Minot AFB Education Center personnel in the Francis X. Deignan Building for tuition assistance information. Civilians students who wish to enroll in courses at Minot Air Force Base should visit Access to MAFB for important information regarding entrance to the Air Force installation.
Computer Literacy Requirement
According to the Department of Defense directive 1322.8, all students completing a degree on the Minot Air Force Base must do one of the following: 1) successfully complete an introduction to computer science course as one of their program electives, or 2) present evidence (credential, transcript etc.) that computer literacy has been obtained.
