In Mini-Society Summer camp, all participants, youth and adults, will create and name an independent, self-regulating town, organize a means for the exchange of goods and services, learn to recognize economic and social opportunities and initiate entrepreneurial ventures.  Through facilitated debriefings of economics, entrepreneurial thinking, civics, ethics, leadership and community improvement.  They’ll experience the risks and rewards – financial and personal associated with initiating a business and becoming an active citizen. This experienced-based course will prepare teachers and other youth group facilitators, such as 4-H leaders to implement an entrepreneurship education program in their weekly curriculum or regular meetings.
