65+ Waiver Information
Audit University Courses Tuition Free!
An audit fee waiver is available for persons 65 years of age or older. The waiver is applicable to on-campus courses only and is limited to a “space available” basis. Students utilizing this waiver will be responsible for the application fee (if applicable), all course-related and/or lab fees. Some courses have prerequisites which may need to be met before enrolling. An auditor may participate in class activities at the discretion of the instructor and is enrolled pending instructor approval. No credit is awarded for an audited course and an auditor may not later establish credit in that course.

If you have previously attended Minot State but have not taken classes for a year, you will need to apply for readmission. If you are new to Minot State, then there is a fee that must accompany your application.
Because instructor approval is required for auditing all courses, the Request to Audit form must be completed before attending class.
