MSU'S RESIDENT TEACHER PROGRAM

The Resident Teacher Program (RTP) at Minot State University (MSU) seeks to recruit, mentor, and retain special education teachers in rural communities across North Dakota. Resident teachers work with MSU and a school district to gain on-the-job experience while earning a Master’s Degree in special education in one of the following program areas:

• Learning Disabilities
• Early Childhood Special Education
• Special Education Strategist
• Severe Multiple Handicaps

School placements are arranged by the RT coordinator with participating school districts or special education units.
