SPED 565: Early Intervention: Deaf/Hard of Hearing
The focus of this course is on a family-centered approach to providing support and services to deaf and hard of hearing children and their families. Additional emphasis is placed on the effectiveness of early intervention on the language, social, and academic development of young children. Students are exposed to assessment strategies, effective program development and language intervention approaches which help young children acquire fluent langeage and communication skills. Offered Spring semester in odd numbered years (ie. 2013)
