The years I've spent in the field of speech-language pathology prove that time flies when you're having fun! I also seem to have a speech-path guardian angel who has guided me into some challenging positions and brought me close to wonderful people in a variety of professions in public schools, preschools, a private agency for the handicapped, and a child psychiatric hospital. My area of greatest focus at MSU is the birth to five population. In addition to teaching a graduate-level course in early intervention and the undergraduate phonetics course, I supervise the diagnosis and treatment of many young clients in the clinic and in the Minot Infant Development Program. I also serve as the External Practicum Coordinator, assisting graduate students in arranging their final full term practicum.

One of my favorite parts of my position is serving as academic advisor to about 25 transfer students in our Department. It is satisfying knowing students on this more personal level and assisingt them in planning their academic programs and future directions.
