Beavers Host Day at the Dome

For the eighth straight year, the Minot State University baseball team and the Dream Catchers team will have their Day at the Dome Sunday, Feb. 16, at 5 p.m.

The event is annually held with both teams splitting into four teams for a two-inning baseball game.

Day at the Dome originated from former student-athlete Justin Beahm and is a day that MSU players and coaches look forward to every year.

Dream Catchers is a team comprised of special needs children organized by Michelle Bliven, an MSU alumna. The group gathers for games throughout the year and has made the Minot State Dome home during the winter, while a new Minot ballpark is prepared for spring and summer seasons.

All spectators and media are welcome to come check out the action in the Dome on Sunday evening. After the games are finished, both teams will partake in the traditional handshake and pizza while getting to know each other off the field.
