NSSLHA Spring Conference

MSU's National Student Speech Language Hearing Association's 21st annual spring conference is April 4 on the Minot State University campus.

The keynote speaker is educator and speech-language pathologist Ann Whitney. Whitney is a member of the clinical and teaching faculties at the University of Colorado, Boulder. She has extensive clinical and teaching expertise in language learning disabilities in children, adolescents and adults, with particular expertise in dyslexia and attention deficit disorder. Whitney has taught numerous university courses and has clinically trained graduate students in methods for assessment and intervention of children and adults with dyslexia and other language learning disabilities. She has worked extensively in a public school setting, teaching in regular classrooms and in special education classes with an emphasis on language learning disabilities.

Registration is $75 if received by March 7. On-site registration is $100. The conference is free to MSU faculty and students.
