WHAT IS THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW?
The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a 1975 British musical comedy horror film. The production is a humorous tribute to the science fiction and horror B movies of the late 1940s through early 1970s. The movie features Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, Barry Bostwick, Meatloaf and more!

Still in limited release nearly four decades after its premiere, it has the longest-running theatrical release in film history! The film has a large international cult following and is one of the most well-known and financially successful midnight movies of all time. In 2005, the film was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".

MIDNIGHT MOVIE TRADITION AND PARTICIPATION
"The Rocky Horror Picture" show gained notoriety as a midnight movie in 1977 when audiences began participating with the film in theatres. Participation varies across the globe but includes things like throwing toast, yelling back one-liners at the screen, dancing in the aisles and more!
