Democracy Cafe
(Off-campus MSU Event)

Democracy Cafe fosters non-partisan discussion on important civic issues in the community. It meets every three weeks from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.

The Oct. 29 topic is "The Influence of Oil on North Dakota and its People," with discussion leader Todd Melby, reporter and lead producer of Black Gold Boom.

Democracy Cafe is open to the public and is funded in part by the Center for Engaged Teaching and Learning. It is also part of MSU's commitment to the Democracy Project in conjunction with the American Association of State Colleges and Universities.
