NAC Lecture: The Sitting Bull Connection
(Lecture/Seminar/Conference)

Minot State University's Northwest Art Center lecture series, in conjunction with Native American Cultural Celebration Week, presents "The Sitting Bull Connection." Ernie LaPointe, great-grandson of the famous Hunkpapa Lakota chief Sitting Bull, is the presenter.

LaPointe was born on the South Dakota Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. He is a sun dancer who lives the traditional way of the Lakota and follows the rules of the sacred pipe. He is the author of the book "Sitting Bull: His Life and Legacy."

The event is free and open to the public, and parking is unrestricted.
