Jiu-Jitsu Student Success Workshop
(Campus Event)

This Student Success Workshop is presented by Marcus Wilson, Purple Belt in Jiu-Jitsu, and head Instructor at ATA Martial Arts and member of the Minot State University wrestling team.

Wear comfortable shorts or exercise pants and loose fitting shirt and tennis shoes.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art, combat sport and a self defense system that focuses on grappling and, especially, ground fighting. It teaches people of any strength level to successfully defend against a bigger, stronger assailant by using leverage and proper technique -- most notably by applying joint-locks and chokeholds to defeat the other person. You will be asked to sign a waiver and release of liability form at the workshop.
