College for Kids: Salamanders, Frogs and their Homes, Session #3

Ages 11-12.
Salamanders and frogs are an important, fun and beautiful part of our world. But most people never see them in their own world. In this class, you will take part in ongoing projects that are designed to help us understand how salamanders and frogs live their lives, from where they live, how they walk and swim, where they breed and what they like to eat. You will get to catch salamanders and frogs and see how we learn about them in the field and in the laboratory. Kids could get muddy and soaking wet; this includes shoes (high topped shoes are best).
