Democracy Cafe is going to the Oak Park's Farmers Market July 12 at 9:30 a.m. Denise Lindbo, Gourmet Chef owner, and Val Stadick, owner Main Street Books, will lead the discussion on "Keeping It Local: Supporting Your Friends and Neighbors."

Democracy Cafe fosters nonpartisan discussion on important civic issues. Democracy Cafe, funded in part by the Center for Engaged Teaching and Learning, is open to the public. It is also part of MSU's commitment to the Democracy Project in conjunction with the American Association of State Colleges and Universities.
