Faculty Music Recital
(Music)

The Division of Music presents Dianna Anderson, assistant professor of music, in a faculty piano recital Tuesday, Oct. 7, at 7:30 p.m. in Ann Nicole Nelson Hall. The program, comprised of keyboard music spanning three centuries, will include J.S. Bach's "Prelude and Fugue in D Major" from the "Well-Tempered Clavier, Book II;" a selection of works ranging from the luscious to the tumultuous taken from Claude Debussy's "Preludes, Book I;" Franz Liszt's devastatingly romantic setting of Petrarch's "Sonnet 104;" and the "Piano Sonata, Op. 26" by Samuel Barber, a landmark of 20th century American piano repertoire.

The recital is free and open to the public, and parking is unrestricted.

Location: Ann Nicole Nelson Hall, Old Main
Price: Free and open to the public
