NOTSTOCK: WordStock Makeshops
(Campus Event)
This year's NOTSTOCK will feature a new element celebrating language and writing as an art: WordStock! As part of WordStock, students will work together in "makeshops" with visiting poet Shaun Griffin on a public literary event that will include a permanent installation of student work in Hartnett Hall on the MSU campus. Students need not bring previously written work; they just need to bring themselves, their ideas, and their energy--to make a public statement about the power and artistry of the written word!
