The MSU Concert Choir, Women's Chorus and MSU Singers will perform their fall concert in Ann Nicole Nelson Hall at 7:30 p.m. Music faculty Ken Bowles and Rebecca Petrik will lead the MSU choirs.

Nov 1: MSU Showcase Concert

MSU's Concert Choir, Women's Choir, MSU Singers, Concert Band and a variety of small ensembles will perform for area high school students selected to participate in the Northwest International Festival of Music.

Nov 2: Northwest International Festival of Music Concert

Students from North Dakota and eastern Montana selected to participate in the Northwest International of Music Festival will perform in Nova Choir, Women's Choir, Mixed Choir and Band. Everyone welcome.

Dec 1: Messiah Concert

The Heritage Singers, Voices of Note, MSU Concert Choir and area community members will perform Handel's "Messiah," one of the longest traditions at Minot State. Dr. Kenneth Bowles, MSU professor of music, will conduct the concert. The orchestra is comprised of Minot Symphony Orchestra members and community musicians. The production is free of charge and open to the public, and parking is open on campus on Sunday. A freewill offering will support the John Strohm Scholarship, which funds voice students at Minot State University.

Dec 15: Western Plains Children's Choir Concert

The Western Plains Children's Choirs will perform their Christmas Concert Dec. 15 in Ann Nicole Nelson Hall at 7 p.m.

May 4: Western Plains Children's Choir Concert

The Western Plains Children's Choirs will present their Spring Tea Fund Raising Concert on May 4th at 3 p.m. in Ann Nicole Nelson Hall.

The Western Plain's Children's Choir, Western Plains Youth Ensemble, and Western Plain's Junior Choir is comprised of third through 10th grade singers. They will sing numbers from current and past movies with flair and a flourish sure to entertain.

The WPCC, maintaining a tradition of choral excellence since 1991, is the premier children's choirs in this region.

This event is WPCC's only fundraiser. The proceeds from the Spring Tea supports the singers in their bi-annual spring tour. The concert/fundraiser includes a silent auction and concessions. The silent auction will open 30 minutes prior the concert. Admission is $5 at the door.
