Collegiate DECA
At the Collegiate DECA International Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah on April 21-24, 2012 , MSU DECA Club students achieved the following awards:
- Ms. Jennifer Lock, $1500 DECA Scholarship sponsored by NAPA (This scholarship is specifically for students involved in DECA and working at NAPA nationwide.)
- Ms. McKenna Larson and Mr. Ben Berg: Top 10 in Case Study, Business to Business Marketing
- Ms. McKenna Larson and Mr. Ben Berg: Voting delegates for the State of North Dakota
At the State Collegiate DECA Career Development Conference on February 12 and 13, 2012, MSU DECA Club students achieved the following awards:
- Mr. Trey Welstad: Web Site Design, 1st Place
- Ms. Jennifer Lock: Restaurant & Food Service Management, 3rd Place
- Mr. Ben Berg: Travel & Tourism, 2nd Place
- Ms. Danielle Cook: Fashion Merchandising, 2nd Place
- Mr. Eric Zitter: Hotel & Lodging, 2nd Place
- Business-to-Business Marketing: Team of Mr. Ben Berg & Ms. McKenna Larson, 1st Place
- Sports and Entertainment Marketing: Team of Ms. Danielle Cook and Ms. Jennier Lock, qualifiers
At the State Collegiate DECA Competition in Fargo on February 13 and 14, 2011 MSU DECA Club students achieved the following awards:
- Ben Berg elected as the 2011-2012 State of ND Collegiate DECA President
