Business Information Technology

  • Kristi Berg presented a paper titled “Unbreakable: A Concise History of Cybersecurity.” at the International Association of Computer Information Systems (IACIS) Conference, Oct. 5-8 in Nashville, Tenn.
  • Deanna Klein received the Ben Bauman Award of Excellence at the International Association for Computer Information Systems Conference (IACIS) Oct. 5-8 in Nashville, Tenn.
  • Lori Willoughby co-presented a paper titled “Social Media Presence-Based Trust for Enterprise Knowledge Sharing: An Empirical Investigation” at the International Association of Computer Information Systems (IACIS) Conference, Oct. 5-8 in Nashville, Tenn.

September 2016:

Dean's Office

  • Dr. Jacek Mrozik, dean, led the International Business 2 Business Networking Seminar, Bridging the Atlantic, with Minot and Telemark County, Norway. The forum was in conjunction with MSU CoB, Minot Area Chamber of Commerce, Minot Area Development Corporation, and Norsk Høstfest. This event was held at the Grand Hotel, September 27th

  • Jan Repnow, Assistant Professor in Business Information Technology, received the North Dakota Association of Career and Technical Education Postsecondary Teacher of the Year Award.

Severson Entrepreneurship Academy

  • Chuck Barney, director of the Severson Entrepreneurship Academy, attended the Yale Executive CEO Summit June 7-8 in New York City.
